La superstar globale pluripremiata RAYE annuncia oggi l’uscita del suo attesissimo nuovo album, prevista per il 27 marzo 2026.

Strutturato in 4 “stagioni”, con ogni lato del vinile dedicato a una stagione diversa, l’album accompagna l’ascoltatore in un viaggio sonoro che inizia nell’oscurità e si conclude nella luce.
RAYE ha affermato: “Music is medicine, I’ve always said that. I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world. I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it.”.
RAYE sta vivendo un momento d’oro, forte di due nomination ai BRIT Awards di questa settimana (Song of the Year e Best Pop) a supporto del suo recente singolo di enorme successo “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!”, che ha raggiunto la #1 nel Regno Unito. Il brano ha superato ad oggi i 600 milioni di stream, ottenendo la certificazione Platino nel Regno Unito. Il singolo continua a consolidare lo slancio globale di RAYE, entrando nella Top 10 in Australia, Austria, Canada, Germania, Grecia, Islanda, Irlanda, Paesi Bassi, Nuova Zelanda, Norvegia, Svezia e Svizzera, e riuscendo ufficialmente a entrare anche nella Top 20 della classifica Billboard Hot 100 negli Stati Uniti.
RAYE ha recentemente dato il via al suo imponente tour sold out da 51 date “THIS TOUR MAY CONTAIN NEW MUSIC”, con il supporto delle sue due sorelle ABSOLUTELY e AMMA. Il tour prevede date nei palazzetti in tutta Europa e nel Regno Unito — incluse sei serate sold out alla O2 Arena — prima di approdare in Nord America, con tappe in venue iconiche come il Radio City Music Hall e il Greek Theatre. Dal suo debutto nel 2014, RAYE ha piazzato 20 singoli nella Top 40 del Regno Unito e ha superato i 10 miliardi di stream complessivi. Nel 2024 ha fatto la storia vincendo sei BRIT Awards, incluso Album of the Year, il numero più alto mai conquistato in un solo anno, a fronte di un totale di sette nomination.
Tra gli altri riconoscimenti figurano un Ivor Novello come Songwriter of the Year (2024), il premio come Best UK & IE Artist agli MTV EMAs, oltre allo speciale Ivors Academy Honours Songwriter Advocate Award. È stata inoltre selezionata per il Mercury Prize e premiata come Variety “Triple Threat” Award, oltre a ricevere nomination ai BET Awards come Best International Act e agli MTV VMAs per Video For Good.
Più recentemente, RAYE è stata insignita del ‘Harry Belafonte Best Song For Social Change’ CEO Merit Award della Recording Academy per la sua intensa e sincera canzone “Ice Cream Man”, che dà voce alle sopravvissute alla violenza sessuale.
È inoltre in corsa per il premio Best Music Film alla 68ª edizione dei Grammy Awards con Live At The Royal Albert Hall — uno show unico, accompagnato da un’orchestra di 50 elementi e un coro gospel — pubblicato in vinile e trasmesso da BBC e PBS. RAYE ha iniziato il 2025 unendo le forze con LISA e Doja Cat per l’inno globale “Born Again”, brano che ha co-scritto e co-prodotto e che recentemente ha fatto conquistare al trio un MTV Video Music Award. Ha inoltre collaborato con il produttore vincitore di 9 GRAMMY Mark Ronson in due singoli dalle influenze jazz, “Suzanne” e “Grandma Calls The Boy Bad News”, quest’ultimo incluso nella colonna sonora ricca di star di F1® THE MOVIE.
La tournée festival estiva 2025 di RAYE ha segnato un trionfale ritorno sul leggendario Pyramid Stage di Glastonbury, insieme a set acclamati a Governor’s Ball, Montreux Jazz Festival, Newport Jazz Festival e All Points East. A settembre è stata in copertina su British Vogue, e questo mese è protagonista della cover di ELLE USA.
L’album di debutto del 2023 di RAYE, “My 21st Century Blues”, è stato il risultato di dieci anni di lavoro e ha segnato il suo esordio come artista indipendente, raggiungendo la #2 nel Regno Unito e la vetta della classifica Spotify Top Albums Debut. Il disco ha ottenuto un successo critico e commerciale internazionale senza precedenti, trainato dall’inarrestabile hit mondiale “Escapism.”. Il singolo non solo è diventato la sua prima #1 in carriera nel Regno Unito, ma ha raggiunto la Top 10 in oltre 20 paesi, ha ottenuto la certificazione Platino RIAA negli Stati Uniti ed è stato il singolo più venduto nel Regno Unito nel 2023 da un’artista britannica donna.
