L’iconico, oramai divenuto un classico, album di Prince ‘1999’ verrà presto ristampato, ma la grande novità sta nei contenuti esclusivi: la ristampa, infatti, conterrà ben 35 brani mai pubblicati prima dal folletto di Minneapolis.
Il disco – che contiene brani indimenticati come ‘1999’, ‘Little Red Corvette’ e ‘Automatic’ – sarà pubblicato in tutto il mondo il prossimo 29 Novembre via Warner Records.
Ed ovviamente sarà disponibile in diverse versioni: dalla Super Deluxe Edition (che conterrà la bellezza di 10 LPs ed un DVD), passando per la Deluxe Edition (2CD o 4LP in vinile), fino alla Versione Standard rimasterizzata (1CD o 2LP in vinile). Inoltre, tutte le versioni (ad eccezione della Super Deluxe) saranno disponibili anche in formato digitale.
Nella Super Deluxe Edition vi sarà compreso un DVD che conterrà l’intero concerto che Prince tenne nel 1982 ad Houston, immagini inedite dell’artista.
I brani inediti, inoltre, provengono tutti dal periodo tra il Novembre 1981 e il gennaio 1983; alcuni di questi sono performance live del suo tour.
