Grammy Awards 2020: tutte le nomination

Sono finalmente stati resi noti gli artisti che ambiranno alla vittoria dei prestigiosi Grammy Awards 2020, la cui cerimonia si svolgerà il prossimo 26 gennaio a Los Angeles con la conduzione di Alicia Keys.

A trionfare, su tutti, l’esplosiva Lizzo che porta a casa ben 8 candidature tra cui compaiono le categorie più ambite: Record of the year (con il brano ‘Truth Hurts’), Album of the year (con ‘Cuz I Love You (Deluxe)’), Song of the year (sempre con ‘Truth Hurts’) e Best new artist
Ottimo risultato anche per la giovanissima Billie Eilish che con le sue 6 nomination diventa l’artista più giovane ad aver mai ambito ai 4 premi principali. Sommate a quelle ottenute dal fratello e collaboratore Finneas O’Connell, le nomination diventano addirittura 11.
La 17enne californiana è eguagliata solamente dal rapper Lil Nas X, mentre Ariana Grande e H.E.R. competono per 5 premi.

Grande delusione per non aver ricevuto alcuna nomination tra le principali categorie per Sam Smith (vincitore nel 2015 di ben 4 grammofoni), Ed Sheeran, Bruce Springsteen (che vanta ben 20 vittorie nella sua lunga carriera) nè per Taylor Swift.

Il “nostro” Andrea Bocelli è l’unico candidato di nazionalità italiana, che compete per il grammofono con il disco ‘Sì’ per il Best traditional pop vocal album.
